A picture will have to wait for now. Just had some hand and arm surgery on my right hand. Its a little hard to type with my left hand since I'm right handed. I got my ticket back in Sept 2013 at the Carp Hamfest. I'm an 11m operator back from the late 70's. I took an intrest in ham radio while I was in high school at that time. But sorry to say. Never had the time or interest to study. To busy being a teenager. I say no more about that area.My interests are making antennas. Working SSB/FM and Am radio listening to stations at night on the old tube sets. Back in 2007 I started going to the local hamfests. Buying gear and talking with people about ham radio. Then I came across Ed (VA3ES).After some time. He got me interested again in studying for my ticket. He kept me going.A great help over the years. I think of him as my Elmer. What can I day. Now I can talk with other ham's on the air and enjoy what the hobby has to offer. Having only a Basic ticket is a good start. For now it will keep me going. HF is next on my list. So that I can enjoy the SSB (I like the best).
